1. Does LED strip reel length equal the maximum continuous run?

No. A reel may contain 5 m, 10 m, 20 m or 50 m of product, but that package length does not automatically prove that the full reel can be powered as one continuous run from one end.

4. How do reel length, feeds and voltage drop interact?

Calculate each powered branch from its installed length and the exact strip watts per metre. A project that purchases one 20 m reel may still divide it into several separately fed sections.

Record driver location, feed points, conductor routes and polarity before using reel length to plan installation. A longer package cannot correct voltage drop, excessive current, undersized conductors or poor connections.
